Me vs. the Market – Feb 2012

It’s February already! Where has time gone? I’m about a month behind but here is an update on the real estate market and on my market. Enjoy!

 

I know, I know its been a little while since I’ve been in touch & updated you on Me vs. the Market! It’s been a busy spring already. I say spring because that’s what our weather has felt like and how the market has been acting. We’ve been busy grooming new listings about to come on the market, generating leads for our current listings & showing properties to buyers. As for the market… If you know of any one considering a purchase now may well be the time!! January was hot.  62 sales in January is second only to 2007 in terms of number of sales.  February will be hotter yet.  Waiting for the market to turn?  It’s turned!  It’s happening RIGHT NOW!

As for me… I have 6 sides pending (3 listings & 3 buyers) I have 5 more contingent to buyers getting their current properties sold and 2 of those are contingent to lenders accepting a short sale, I 3 very serious buyers who need/want to buy properties ASAP and 7 of my 23 listings will buy another property when theirs sells.
